I have been neglecting my blog lately. These photos were taken last Spring at Mountain Trail Rides in Canaan Valley.

Breaking through

 

Columbus Day. As the morning sun broke through the clouds, the fog settled in the valley was illuminated in golden light.

Last evening, we went to Dolly Sods in search of wild blueberries. We didn't find many blueberries, but I did find the beauties below! These have several names, Wood lily, Philadelphia lily, Prairie lily, or Western Red lily.

I'm sorry for neglecting my blog. I recently got a job so I don't have as much time to pursue my photography. I was able to get out with a friend last month to search for wild flowers. We saw quite a few beauties!
