Almost 5!

It's hard to believe my baby girl will be 5 at the end of August! We went out yesterday to get some 5 year portraits. I only like 3 so we will try again soon!

Emerald Isle 2012

A couple of weeks ago we went to Emerald Isle, NC. The week started out nice. Unfortunately, the week ended with hot temps and pain. My husband ended up having is gallbladder removed when we returned from vacation. It has been a hectic couple of weeks!

Eastern newt or red spotted newt covered in early morning dew on the Beall Trail in Canaan Valley Wildlife Refuge.

US Capitol

My oldest son graduated 8th grade this week. His class went on a field trip to the Nation's Capitol. They were able to meet Senators Manchin and Rockefeller and tour the Capitol building. It was a memorable day.
