Dolly Sods Spring 2011
The forest service finally opened the gates to Dolly Sods this week. I have been anxious to get back up there and try out my new filters. I left my house around 6pm with a sky full of gorgeous puffy clouds. When we got the Dolly Sods half an hour later, the clouds had completely disappeared. I was very disappointed. I had to settle for photos of clear, boring blue skies.

Magnificent! I love the view from anywhere in that general area. Last time I was there I had to carry my daughter down the hill on my back...in the rain. Still, awesome fun!
